Explorer Hotel is in a great location - rooms excellent especially for families - staff very helpful - grandson loved the "bendy bus" to and from Disney Park which was very frequent - would suggest eating in the hotel which was quite expensive but excellent value compared to "rubbish" food at ridiculous prices at Disney.

We have just returned from staying at the Explorer hotel and we had a great time. We were 4 adults but we acted like kids. Loved the Disney park and the shuttle bus was so easy and ran at regular intervals. The pick ups fromt the airport were on time no hanging around. The staff at the hotel were nice and friendly and we would definatley recommend this hotel again.

We stayed in the Explorers Hotel at the end of August 2011. Our children loved the swimming pool. The hotel is in a really nice location and within easy reach of the disney parks. There is a regular shuttle bus. The only downside is that everything is very expensive in the hotel.

The Thomas cook exporers hotel is great for families and couples, the pool is fantastic with a slide and plenty of space. We found it to be in a great location and very reasonably priced. The rooms are quite big, food was great as was the service. We will definitely go back!

Just had 3 nights stay at the Explorer Hotel,we could not book in until 3pm, there was a special Locker room for our cases which was great, so we could carry on to the Disney Parks, The Hotel rooms were lovely,We booked a cabin room ajoining room for the two grandchildren with Bunk Beds. At the back of the Hotel is a beautiful view and a walk around a large lake with benches to sit down on and relax.Breakfast was continental but fantastic. swimming pool great, the big slide was fab, also a play jungle area with ball pit etc. The shuttle buses were very frequent, but you need to get on quickly and sit down or hold on tight as the drivers drive quite fast. Take plenty of money everything is alot more expensive than in England also comfy walking shoes. Be prepared to queue for everything take your suncream, ENJOY!

Went to the Explorers hotel back in May.... before I went I was worried about the hotel not being on the park...when we arrived we realised that the hotel was in a great location and the shuttle bus took less than 5 minutes and was very frequent. The large Crew rooms suited our large family (not many hotels sleep more than 2 adults 2 children) and the kids really enjoyed the swimming pool area which has slides and is indoor. Would definately recommend this hotel especially with children.
